United States has a well developed health care facility with money spend on it. The hospital facilities run by private corporations are intended at making profit. At the same time, the state governments, religious sectors and other non-profit organizations run nonprofit hospitals.

Hospitals in United States are primarily intended at providing in patient care. Still some of them have outpatient care facility in emergency rooms and clinics. The hospice services intended for those who are not expected to live long are generally operated by charity organizations and governments. The family planning, prenatal and gynecology clinics are mostly government funded in most states.
