Causes of Arthritis
Arthritis is the inflammation of the joints and the muscles connecting up the joint. This condition does not just create a painful sensation in the body but also hinders movement. Obviously it can be quite a pain that way. There is no one type of arthritis. There are almost 200 conditions that are bundled up under the broad title of Arthritis.
The medical community has been able to point out at the triggering factor behind arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is triggered by the immune system’s mistaken attack on the bones. As far as osteoarthritis is concerned, it is causes because of the cartilage becoming brittle and weak.
However why some people are prone to arthritis while others are not, still remains to be a question. Women have been found to be more predisposed to arthritis. Generally ageing is a major cause of this condition. People who suffer from arthritis primarily belong to the age group of above 55.
