Energy drinks: Use Caution
The race for energy drinks was started by Red Bull and now various flavors of these unhealthy habit is available in the market from the brands like Rock Star, AMP and Monster. Loaded with sugar, caffeine and empty calories they don’t do anything special for your health. Once in a while consumption of these energy drinks is not bad however caution should be executed to avoid becoming dependent on these supplements as:
Couple of energy drinks per day could have a drastic impact on person’s cardiovascular activity and combine it with a lack of sleep you can suffer from serious problems like arrhythmias
You can even become a caffeine addict if you consume far too many energy drinks in short span of time. It can also play havoc with your blood sugar levels leading to severe drowsiness and fluctuations in your energy levels. You may feel fatigued and drained out if you become habituated to these drinks to party late night or cope up with busy month at work.
Like too much of anything is bad therefore be doubly cautious before opening a can.
