Macro minerals and its role in human body

Our daily diet must contain adequate amount of macro minerals. These minerals are necessary for the biochemical processes going on in the human body. They act as electrolytes. 200 mg of macro minerals are required for our body daily. These minerals include calcium, chloride, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur and sodium. The excessive amount of such minerals can be dangerous. Among these the most important one is calcium. Calcium helps to neutralize acidity, clear toxins, build bones and increases alkalinity and flexibility. Sodium and potassium acts as normal electrolytes. Phosphorous and magnesium is required for strong bones and also for energy processing.
