Health care is so expensive in US and hence health insurance coverage is a necessary requirement. The funding for the Medicaid is done together by the State and the Federal governments. This is managed under the State. The eligibility for receiving Medicaid is that the parents or children need to be of low income. Senior citizens and disabled people might also qualify for obtaining health insurance coverage under the Medicaid policy. It never means that those who are really poor will always get Medicaid health care package. This is the largest health insurance program for people with limited income.
