They act as catalyst and aid the metabolic activities taking place inside the body. They combine with the enzymes present in the body to act as a catalyst. They also act as coenzymes. These coenzymes are responsible for carrying various chemical groups between the enzymes. Thus it aids in the transportation field also. Vitamin B7 also known as biotin is responsible for the formation of fatty acids. Thus, Vitamin forms an important part of our diet.
