We generally don’t pay for prevention and wellness in the same way as we pay to treat illness. It is imperative to use human rights based approach in healthcare delivery system which in turn can significantly improve people’s health outcomes by supporting the delivery of more effective, better quality, human centered health care. The actual concern over right to universal health care should be in making sure that facilities and personnel are available and accessible. A right also has its own responsibilities. If a person out of his wish engages in behavior that puts them at risk for

contracting a deadly virus, dealing with pregnancy, overdosing, or any of the myriad of dangers that await us in life, they also must bear the consequences.

In US though a lot of emphasis is put on integrated healthcare system yet there is no right that ensures that a person will get health care. It may be due to the negligence of Government agencies or health care providers that a person can fall prey to contagious diseases rising out of pollution etc but there is no right to pacify that.
